After ambitious oceanographer Laura Dougherty (Lake Bell) comes across an enormous creature underwater, she will not be satisfied until she has answers. Embarking against her better judgment on a complex search for this animal’s origins, Laura and her team set off to find truths more shocking than they ever could of imagined.
